Information

If anyone from Los Angeles is looking for information for Montreal, feel free to ask me or Dawn. If you ask her she can relay it to me and I will do my best to answer whatever needs you may have. The day is drawing ever closer and I know people will want to have plans in place. Can't wait to see you all there and celebrate this most joyous of occasions!

I'll definitely pass on any questions or information when they come up. And you all can post here, and he can respond when he gets the post. Thanks for helping Jamie.

I'm sorry. I should have posted my travel question here instead of e-mailing direct, but I wasn't sure how often you all were posting here. It's a bit long but here goes:

I wanted to pick up the conversation re: travel dates and accommodations. I've been watching airfares and just found a round trip on expedia.com for as little as $577rt! I can get something with a hotel as well, since it sounds like there may be quite a few of us traveling there from CA. We don't want to overwhelm Jamie's family for sure!

For Dawn: What day would be best for me to arrive? I blocked out Thurs 9/20 through Wed 9/26 on my calendar, but I think we discussed that it would be best for me to leave the day after the wedding since you'll be enjoying an extended stay at the wedding venue. That works for me - returning on Sun 9/23 - I just don't know when I should arrive.

For Jamie: What area might be best for me to book a hotel? For example: should I aim for the Downtown area? or Anjou? Boucherville? Dorval? Laval? Longueuil? Mirabel? Montreal (Central I suppose)? Point claire? Saint-Laurent? St. Jerome?

Are you impressed yet? or just simply bored with my list:)?

I probably won't be able to rent a car and do a hotel, too, so wherever I stay, I should be near public transportation so you guys don't have to worry 'bout shuttling me about.

That's all for now...I'll be sure to check back frequently for comments and replies.

Thanks!

For Natalie: The best place I would say for you to stay is Downtown. It is where all the stores are and perfect for transportation. We have a Metro system that you can get to from pretty much anywhere downtown with ease.

We can discuss on Sunday if that's good? A lil shopping, a lil chatting and maybe some food? I'll bring my calendar! Time? When's good?

Jamie, thanks for all the helpful info. I'm really thrilled to know that downtown is the best location as it seems to be full of places to go and things to do and see. And, Dawn and I sat with our calendars to figure out the best days for me to travel, so with that information, I can soon make my reservations!
